I really love The Cottage Fairy. She honestly strikes me as someone who presents with female autism (which manifests a lot differently than the way we typically think of autism). The way she talks about her best friend growing up being an older woman, usually having few friends, preferring to be alone, issues around an eating disorder, etc seem to line up. I think it's a really understudied issue since females with autism tend to do better "normalizing." I would say it's super mild though and she has adapted well.

Isabel is getting married I guess? And they bought a house. It also sounds like her biological clock is screaming and she wants to have babies. She's all over the place. She has no idea who she is, what she wants, or where she's going in life. She broke up with Logan right before her trip with Hitomi but now they're getting married? She's definitely having some sort of existential life crisis right now. Moreso that usual.
Love the Cottage Fairy as well. I do miss her old cottage. I think we will see less and less from her after she has her baby. I appreciate that she doesn't try to shill ridiculous products she doesn't actually use. Better Help, etc. Isabel didn't used to do the revealing boob thing, it's pretty new. I'm surprised she went that route. She is a talented filmmaker and should do more with her skills, she could have an actual career behind the camera.
Motherhood, especially first time motherhood, is super intense. I think she will probably disappear for at least a year. There's another cottagecore account I can't think of the name that is an Irish couple (I believe) and they did disappear for a year or so.

I'm glad content creators are still taking the plunge to have families. I feel like I'm watching a lot of them give up on the notion because they think 1) it will be impossible to manage and 2) they think people will hate parenting content and think they have to avoid the topic as much as possible to not offend the militant child free crowd

The amount of millennial female content creators basically apologizing for wanting to do anything traditional is a weird commentary on modern society. Its okay to want what has been a completely normal life trajectory for all of human history. And honestly if they don't have the kids they want and age out of content creation (which is sadly inevitable - people want young, pretty, and skinny) theyre going to be left with regret. I see this happening to Rachel Maksy (not off grid creator - sewing/crafting content) who has said many times she wants to have kids and just keeps putting it off probably because she's afraid of upsetting the large part of her base that is adults who dont want to grow up and want to keep living their best Tumblr years vicariously through her.

But I'm on a tangent. Alternately maybe some off grid accounts are desperately trying to not get lumped in with tradwife/Christian homemaker accounts because there's so much crossover there.
