Katie jumping on other BookTuber’s Patreon reading sprints constantly is driving me mad. I don’t subscribe to Katie’s Patreon because I don’t care for her. I subscribe to other Patreons because I enjoy chatting with THOSE BookTubers and with fellow patrons. When Katie joins, there’s zero room for other discussion and I end up leaving or not joining to begin with if I know in advance.
I don’t totally get why Booktubers think it’s fun to do joint reading sprints at all tbh — I’m paying to have access to…watching two friends talk while the chat of patrons is ignored? It’s weird.
