Probably Max broke up with Jess because she was too lazy to be controlled and found Sanne that looks like she’ll do anything for love (he just have to make her think they are true love). I think Max is just some guy that was like why not she’s hot I get to do it with her and I can easily control her and make her my business. Guess after all Jessica’s lazyness was useful.
