Typical manly response to his mother dying. He found pride in making sure to mention that he bought his mother a house so she didn't have to be in a nursing home. Then he corrects V for saying she worries he is busy with work to avoid mourning his mother properly and he says he is always busy with work regardless lol. Not a bad reaction, but shows his mindset on what is important.
